This month we’re focusing on Movement for Life! Athletes train for their sport and we should apply the same concept when training for everyday life. Whether it’s performing your job, getting through daily routines, or simply playing and staying active, movement matters.

Did you know that employees can cost an organization up to $1,250 per year in musculoskeletal‑related expenses? These costs come from healthcare claims, lost time, reduced productivity, and missed opportunities for prevention, all often tied to inadequate mobility and strength.

This month, take time to focus on how better movement can improve both your work and your life!

WELLNESS CENTER UPDATES
We are excited to introduce our newest employee, Masy Folcik.  Masy will taking over as Program Coordinator.           CLICK HERE to learn more about Masy.

The locker rooms have been closed daily since February 2 from 9-10am and 9-10pm for a deep cleaning of the floors and showers.  We hope you are enjoying a cleaner locker room experience as a result!  For members who still want to workout during this time, there is a storage rack next to the weight room where you can store your belongings during this time.

Guideline Reminders: Please be mindful of your time on equipment, wear clean and dry shoes, avoid occupying lockers when you’re not exercising, and wipe down machines after your workout.  CLICK HERE for a refresher on all of the Wellness Center guidelines.

  • Amway Wellness Center Member Happy Hours coming April 16th between 8am-4pm.  This month we will be giving out store coupons to everyone who stops by and members can spin the wheel of wellbeing to win supplements samples.  Samples include:​

  • Mondays:  11:15pm -  Xfit 45
  • Tuesdays:  12:15pm - Total Body Strength 45 | 4:15pm -  Pilates 45
  • Wednesdays:  12:15pm -  HIIT 45 | 4:15pm - Yoga 45
  • Thursdays:  7:00am - Tone Up 30 | 12:15pm - Fast Break Thursday Class Series
    • This April, get ready to spring forward by participating in our Spring Training Series. Just like the excitement of spring training in sports, we’re here to help you build strength and endurance by offering a variety of workouts. Each Thursday at 12:15, we’ll feature a different class designed to build your stamina, strength, and flexibility.
    • Spring Training is for anyone ready to level up their fitness. Join us every Thursday this April, and let’s train hard, move fast, and make this spring your most energized season yet! Grab product samples & store coupons for participating.

      • April 16:   CYCLING 
      • April 23:  CORE POWER
      • April 30:  POUND
    • Space is limited, so be sure to sign up today and reserve your spot!  If you have any issues with sign ups or logging in, email [email protected], call x7710 or stop by the Wellness Center Desk.  We are happy to help!
*Remember to sign up for classes in advance if you’d like to attend and do your best to remove your name from the class list if you’re unable to attend.  Check in on the iPad in the Group Fitness Room when you arrive!  Scan your badge at the front desk to check into the Amway Wellness Center.  If there are less than 3 people signed up for a class at 5pm the night before, it will be cancelled.
