6-Week Intro to Strength Training and Wellness Program

A beginner-friendly program focused on confidence, safety, and healthy habits.

Looking to feel stronger, more confident, and healthier without feeling intimidated in the gym?

Move Strong, Live Well is a six-week, small-group, beginner-friendly strength training and wellness program designed for anyone new to strength training, returning to exercise, or looking for guidance and confidence in the weight room. The program focuses on safe movement, education, and building habits that support long-term health and wellness.​
Program Details:

  • ​6-week program
  • Small groups (max 4 participants)
  • Beginner-friendly & all levels welcome
  • Strength training + short wellness lessons each session
What You’ll Learn:
​

✔ How to use the weight room safely
✔ Full-body strength training basics
✔ Proper form and confidence with equipment
✔ Simple nutrition & wellness habits
✔ How to build your own strength workout

This program isn’t about perfection, it’s about learning, building confidence, and creating habits that last.
This program is for:
  • Employees, family members, and retired employees
  • ​Beginners or those returning to strength training
  • Anyone looking for guidance and confidence in the weight room
  • All fitness levels welcome (modifications provided if needed)

What to expect each week:
  • Small-group strength training sessions
  • Full-body workouts focused on proper form and safety
  • Gradual progression using bodyweight, free weights, and machines
  • Short wellness or nutrition lesson at the end of each class
    • Warm-up
    • Strength training session
    • Cooldown stretching
    • Wellness lesson

Additional bonus:
  • At the end of each session I will be giving out product samples to try that go along with the wellness lesson.

About the Instructor:
​

My name is Lilli Price, I am currently the Fitness Specialist Intern here at the Amway fitness facility. I am attending Grand Valley State University, majoring in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health Fitness Instruction. My passion and hope is to create a positive, supportive, welcoming fitness environment where you can grow and flourish. Along with helping you all feel more confident, safe, and encouraged as you build strength and healthy habits.
I can't wait to meet all of you!
