Who is this program for?
This program is for individuals that have minimal experience with strength training. It is designed to encourage and empower individuals to become comfortable enough to strength train on their own.
Do I have to be a member to join?
Yes, all group exercises are for members only. Membership is free. If you would like to become a member of the Optimal You Fitness Facility, click here.
What type of training will be in this program?
Intro to Strength Training will progress through various types of strength movements and equipment. Members that are enrolled will get the opportunity to train with body weight, strength machines, dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells.
How large are the class sizes?
This program is designed as a small group training program. Class sizes will be limited to 4 per class.
How long will this program run for?
Intro to Strength Training will run for 6 weeks and will meet once a week. It will be important to attend each session as every session will build off of the previous one.
Will I be able to sign up after the start date?
No, all sign-ups will be final on October 16th at 5pm. This is due to the progression aspect of the program.
If I miss a training session, can I join another time slot?
This would be dependent on the capacity of each time slot, moving to another class may be possible. If you know you will miss the class, please call the Optimal You Fitness Facility x7710 to confirm if moving to another class time will be possible.
